Zuzanna Gorzalczynska is an emerging filmmaker with a focus on documentaries and contemporary, human-focused drama.
Zuzanna’s journey in film began over 10 years ago in Dublin, where she worked as a camera assistant on various commercials and short films. This experience led her to discover the world of video production and advertising, which she decided to explore further when she decided to try something new and moved to Berlin.
There, Zuzanna established a video production studio within a startup, producing, directing, and editing numerous in-house videos for a language company over the course of almost two years.
Upon returning to Ireland, Zuzanna was drawn back to film sets, and found her way into the world of EPK and behind-the-scenes projects. This, combined with nearly a decade of experience in the creative industry, ignited her passion for making her own films.
Through her work, Zuzanna aims to explore the depth of human emotions and interactions, and how they shape our personal lives and the communities we inhabit.
Outside of filmmaking, Zuzanna has a strong passion for classical painting and drawing. In her spare time, she enjoys creating still life compositions indoors or painting outdoors “en plein air”, where she deepens her connection with nature.
Zuzanna is based in Co. Wicklow, Ireland.
